Rainbow LGBTQ+ Network

A group of passionate and collaborative colleagues, members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies, driving inclusion for our LGBTQ+ colleagues. The Network is a safe space to talk and share issues and concerns, as well as a space to celebrate all aspects of LGBTQ+ life. The Network is the hub and driving force behind several inclusive initiatives including awareness events, a partnership with Stonewall and Pride celebrations. We stand united together regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation and support each other.

Female Network

Aldermore’s Female Network stands for Backing Our Women to be the best they can be. As a network, we actively work across the group to improve our gender balance and support women to feel empowered to bring the best version of themselves to work.  Aldermore is a signatory to the Women in Finance Charter and is committed to becoming a menopause friendly employer, eliminating discrimination, and encouraging diversity amongst our people.

Established in 2020, our aim is to create a community which provides a voice for our ethnic minority colleagues, and to empower them to embrace their full talent potential across Aldermore Group. Our network is open to all colleagues interested in engaging and wanting to make a positive difference by raising awareness, celebrating and promoting a truly inclusive culture throughout the organisation.  Since September 2021, Aldermore now fosters a public commitment (through Business in the Community (BITC)’s Race at Work Charter) to to improving the outcomes of our ethnic minority colleagues and tackling ethnic disparities.

We want our colleagues to prioritise their mental health and well-being. Our vision is to raise mental health awareness, support colleagues to maintain good mental health, deliver prevention and implement core mental health standards and practices. We’re very proud to have launched “Wellbeing Wednesdays” – a platform open to every colleague. We actively encourage colleague participation in these sessions, taking an hour away to learn more about the importance of mental health and most importantly diminishing the perceived stigma so often attached to mental health in the workplace.
