Reliable

Have used Aldermore before, reliable, efficient, prompt confirmation of investment, never had any issues. Average interest rates in these difficult times.

easy to open

It was ok to open and straightforward to transfer the money. Some people who are not confident with technology may still prefer to do it over the phone with the help of an adviser

Better than High Street Banks

Power of Attorney account, I would have liked more information on the POA account opening process as the original account details I was emailed was changed to a different account number. But it was easy to open and offers a competitive rate of interest.

ok but disappointed that i had to pay£12 to wire the money

reasonable interest rate, but very disappointed tha no cheque would be accepted,as£12 for wiring the investment,is a lot when interest is so low.

1 Year Fixed Rate Account

Not great.

I started saving with Aldermore because of good interest rates and because I could manage the account by post. Now I can only manage the account via the internet and the interest rates are as low as everybody else. I hope that in future interest rates will improve and then I might stay with Aldermore, but I hate the account login process. It's very secure since it usually won't let me in and I know all the access information.
