Aldermore bank has today increased the rates on a number of fixed rate bond products, providing savers with increasingly competitive rates.

The following increases to personal savings rates will be available immediately:

  • 1 Year Fixed Rate to be increased from 0.60% to 0.75%
  • 2 Year Fixed Rate to be increased from 0.70% to 0.80%
  • 3 Year Fixed Rate to be increased from 0.80% to 0.85%

Ewan Edwards, director of savings, Aldermore comments: “Following the launch of our fixed rate bond proposition last week, we are delighted to announce rate increases for a number of our personal savings products. We regularly review our offering to ensure we continue to deliver competitive rates to help customers reap better returns.

“As lockdown restrictions continue to ease and life returns to normality, fixed-rate accounts can help people save towards those bigger expenses that were put on hold and postponed over the last year, such as holidays and weddings. These accounts offer more favourable rates than easy access accounts and can make your money work harder until it is time for it to be used.”
