Aldermore has appointed Caroline Mirakian as head of key accounts and Andy Rowe as national sales manager for the South of England, adding significant senior expertise to its growing Property division. Both Caroline and Andy will commence their roles on 7 November. The appointments will help enable Aldermore to bolster its support for brokers as it renews its focus on its Property business, following a strategic review earlier in the year.

This announcement follows the release of Aldermore’s full year results in September, where the bank revealed a strong pipeline in property lending for the rest of the year. Aldermore also recently announced the appointment of Ross Dalzell as the new managing director of its Property division as the bank pursues its growth strategy.

Caroline brings extensive knowledge of the specialist mortgage market having previously held roles within Metro Bank, Shawbrook and more recently at Pepper Money, where she was head of national accounts and later, sales director for second mortgages.

Andy arrives with a wealth of mortgage insights having been a broker, business development manager and more recently a regional manager for Zephyr Homeloans.

Jon Cooper, head of mortgages at Aldermore, comments: “We are delighted to welcome Caroline and Andy to Aldermore. They both have vast experience within the mortgage market and will play a key role as we renew our focus on our Property business for growth.”

Caroline Mirakian, head of key accounts at Aldermore, says: “It’s great to be given the opportunity to join Aldermore and work with a superb team. I’ve long admired its broker-focused proposition and I wanted to play my part at Aldermore as it aims to deepen its Property expertise and support more customers. The chance to join a dynamic, forward-thinking lender, that wants to continually evolve and adapt to the changing needs of its brokers and customers, was an opportunity that I couldn’t pass up.”

Andy Rowe, national sales manager for the South at Aldermore, adds: “I’m thrilled to be joining a team of highly experienced and talented individuals at a key moment in Aldermore’s growth strategy. Service and strong relationships are at the heart of everything that Aldermore does, and I look forward to helping them support more borrowers in the South of England.”
