Aldermore, the specialist bank has decided to realign its business into two distinct customer facing businesses - Business Finance and Retail Finance. The move will further support the Bank's strategy of being focused entirely around its customers.
The changes which will be phased in gradually over the coming months and will mean the Business Finance division led by Carl D'Ammassa, Group Managing Director will expand to include Commercial Mortgages and Property Development in addition to its Asset, Invoice, Specialist and Wholesale funding products.
The new divisions will enable Aldermore to use its specialist knowledge and skills to continue to build propositions that meet the needs of its growing customer base, constantly improving the way in which it interacts and services its customers.
Carl D’Ammassa, Group Managing Director Business Finance said: “Everything we do at Aldermore is focused on providing our customers with the kind of support they need to achieve their personal and business aims. By creating these two new divisions, we will put greater focus on our customers’ needs by providing bespoke, flexible and cost efficient funding options across a wider range of coordinated and complementary products. Our customers and introduction partners continue to tell us how the High Street banks are letting them down. They are crying out for support from funders such as Aldermore and greater coordination of our business lending product suite. Our new business approach will help us to embrace the changing customer landscape and deliver products and services that will meet their individual needs.”
Carl joined Aldermore in October 2013 and has managed significant growth in the business with total business finance lending reaching £4bn at the end of June 2017. Talking to the organisation changes, Carl said “We have seen strong levels of growth at Aldermore as we support more great British businesses than ever before. These changes will unlock further growth potential for the Bank but most importantly enable us to provide more products and services to our business customers.”
