Matthew Hartie has been working in the Recruitment industry for the past 20 years, and set up his first business in 2003 with the help of Dragons’ Den star James Caan. Matt acquired Construction Recruitment Services & Alphatech Resources through a recent MBO and is now looking to grow by expanding his team and has an ambitious programme of mergers and acquisitions planned.
Matt Hartie, Managing Director, Construction Recruitment Services Ltd & Alphatech Resources, said:
“We are poised for growth and needed a finance facility to help make that happen. At first we were hesitant about using invoice finance but the team at Aldermore walked us through the process so we understood exactly what the deal included. Being able to actually talk to somebody made Aldermore really stand out from its competitors.
“The team is also helping us in other ways such as expanding our network and setting up introductions. They seem to really care about my business which is quite unique in a bank. We are out in the market talking to business owners that are looking for an exit as we are focused on growing our business from its current base of £6million to £30million over the next 3 years. Fortunately Aldermore shares my passion for growth and is being incredibly supportive. The facility we have in place will ensure nothing holds us back when M&A opportunities come along.”
Tom Young, Regional Sales Manager, Invoice Finance, Aldermore, said:
“Matt is a real entrepreneur and leads a great team of passionate and experienced people. His growth plans are exciting and we’re delighted to be able to support Matt and the team with funding and more. It’s really important to Aldermore and I that we are able to help businesses and their owners achieve their ambitions. I have no doubt that Matt will meet his ambitious growth targets and I’m pleased Aldermore will be there to support him on this exciting journey.”
