The Corporate, Financial and Investor Relations award is given to the best work across financial public relations, including investor relations, stakeholder engagement, and corporate affairs.
The team achieved the accolade for driving the execution of a 12 month communication programme to support the Bank’s IPO which involved building Aldermore’s profile in the UK media to develop awareness of its history, strategy and outlook. This was particularly important to effectively differentiate Aldermore in the crowded challenger bank space, including those banks that were looking to raise money for an IPO at a similar time.
Commenting on the win, Holly Marshall, Director of Corporate Affairs at Aldermore, said: “I’m delighted and incredibly proud of the team for achieving this recognition for its work on Aldermore’s successful IPO. This was an intense period which involved multiple deliverables in a highly complex project with many stakeholders.
“I’m also grateful to our agency FTI Consulting, whose advice and expertise helped guide us through the IPO process. The PRCA Awards are amongst the leading awards in the PR industry and we’re over the moon to have achieved such an endorsement for our efforts”.
The annual PRCA Awards are run by the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) and recognise the leading practitioners and campaigns in the UK public relations industry. The awards ceremony was held at the Hilton Park Lane on Tuesday 10th November 2015.
