Adepto, which is based in Warrington, was established in June this year and supplies engineers and manufacturing experts to companies operating in specialist sectors including chemicals, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, nuclear, food and beverages and energy/oil and gas.
The consultancy was established when its two directors, Lee Knowles and Niki Bradley, who have over 20 years’ experience in the recruitment industry, spotted a gap in the market. They felt that the chemical sciences industry could benefit from a more professional, credible and reliable approach so set up Adepto to place temporary and permanent staff within the market.
The facility from Aldermore will help Adepto to manage payments to their contract workers regardless of when the consultancy’s clients settle their invoices.
Lee Knowles, Director at Adepto Technical Recruitment Ltd, said:
“Since we established the business in June, we’ve experienced significant demand andgrowth, and so additional finance was needed in order to continue our development. We were directed to Aldermore by our accountants who told us that the Bank was gaining a great reputation for supporting small businesses like ours. This proved to be good advice because Aldermore has been very supportive during this early phase of our growth.
“Aldermore offered us a set monthly fee which suits us well as it provides a clear view of where we stand financially and gives us the freedom to focus on growing the new business.”
Andy Johnson, Regional Sales Manager, Invoice Finance at Aldermore, said:
“I’m delighted that we’ve been able to support Lee and Nick at Adepto and we look forward to working with them going forward,
“In many ways, Adepto is similar to Aldermore. Both companies were set up when their founders identified a market that was being underserved. For Adepto, it was the recruitment needs of the chemical sciences industry, whereas Aldermore was created to help SMEs whose finance needs were not being met by the incumbent providers.”
