Aldermore announces changes to leadership team

Aldermore Group PLC today announces that Mark Stephens, Deputy CEO and Group Commercial Director, has informed the company of his decision to leave the Bank at the end of 2015. As part of planned succession, Carl D’Ammassa and Charles Haresnape will report into Phillip Monks, CEO with immediate effect.

Carl D’Ammassa joined the Group in October 2013 and since then, has successfully grown the Asset Finance Division to a portfolio in excess of £1bn. In addition to Asset Finance, Carl will assume responsibility for the Invoice Finance Division, becoming Group Managing Director, Business Finance.

Charles Haresnape joined Aldermore at the beginning of 2011, initially leading Residential Mortgages and assumed additional responsibility for Commercial Mortgages and Property Development in June 2014. Under Charles’ leadership, Aldermore’s total mortgage portfolio has grown organically from a standing start to almost £4bn within five years. The Mortgages Division, covering both residential and commercial customers, will continue to report to Charles who becomes Group Managing Director, Mortgages.
