British challenger bank Aldermore has further strengthened its Invoice Finance sales team in the South West with the appointment of Leanne Green, Gareth Jones and Russell Stritch as Regional Sales Managers, based in the Bank's Bristol office.

Leanne Green is responsible for South Wales and Gloucestershire and brings with her more than 10 years banking experience, having previously worked for Bibby Financial Services and NatWest Bank.

Russell Stritch is responsible for Dorset and the South West region and joins Aldermore having previously worked for Unum UK as a Business Development Consultant and Friends Provident as a Senior Account Manager.

Gareth Jones is responsible for Wiltshire and Hampshire. Prior to joining Aldermore, Gareth was a Relationship Manager and Senior Local Business Manager for Lloyds TSB and prior to that he was an Assistant Manager with Barclays Corporate.

Commenting on the new appointments, David Parsons, Regional Director for the South West and Wales, said: "I'm delighted to welcome Leanne, Russell and Gareth to the team here at Aldermore.

"This is an important phase in the growth of the Bank's activities in South Wales and the South West and the skills, experience and expertise that Leanne, Russell and Gareth bring with them will be invaluable. I would like to wish them every success."

Invoice finance is used by small and medium sized businesses to unlock cash tied up in unpaid invoices, which can help improve cashflow and facilitate their future expansion.

Aldermore has lent more than £2.5 billion (a combination of commercial mortgages, residential mortgages, asset finance and invoice finance) since first opening its doors for business in the summer of 2009.
