James is responsible for delivery of the bank's invoice finance proposition in Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire and reports to Midlands Regional Managing Director, Tony Smedley. Invoice finance unlocks cash tied up in the unpaid invoices of a business, to release valuable working capital.
Aldermore's strong balance sheet and local team means it is able to react quickly and positively to the funding needs of businesses throughout the region. Whereas traditional high street banks have legacy issues to contend with when lending, Aldermore's 'can-do' attitude enables it to take a flexible approach to lending to enterprises throughout all stages of the business life cycle.
James developed his financial services career with Lloyds TSB where he held a variety of customer service and lending positions in Bristol and Birmingham, culminating in the role of International Business Manager before moving to Barclays as a Corporate Relationship Director.
Tony Smedley, Regional Managing Director at Aldermore, said: "It's great to have someone on board with James' considerable experience. I'm sure his knowledge both of the banking industry and the Midlands region will stand him in good stead and I would like to wish him well for the future."
James Seals said: "Aldermore has really made its mark over the past couple of years as the new British bank that's providing a high level of service to small and medium sized businesses. I'm looking forward to working with businesses in Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire to help them find suitable solutions to their future funding needs."
