Aldermore Asset Finance recruits specialist materials handling team

Aldermore, the new name in British banking, has recruited a team of specialist materials handling experts into its asset finance business, which is based in its asset finance operations centre in Reading.

The team provides finance advice to manufacturers, distributors and small and medium sized businesses about the sale and purchase of materials handling equipment, such as forklift trucks and automated warehouse vehicles. Finance facilities provided by Aldermore include fixed and variable rate hire purchase, finance leases, unsecured loans and minimum term and fixed term rental agreements both with and without maintenance. Finance facilities are available from £5,000 to £1+ million.

The materials handling team is headed by Andrew Woodward.He joins Aldermore from Albury Asset Rentals where he was Head of Dealer Accounts. Andrew is charged with building the Aldermore materials handling business, with responsibility for developing relationships with dealers and manufacturers. He spent six years with Capital Asset Finance where he was Marketing Director and five years with UFB Humberclyde where he was responsible for developing finance schemes for Renault Commercial Vehicles and Nissan Forklifts Trucks.

Andrew has been joined by:

Gillian Coupland - Gill has developed her career in the finance industry, specialising for the last twelve years in the materials handling market with organisations such as Royscot Trust, GE Capital, Capital Asset Finance and for the last four years Albury Asset Rentals, developing relationships with both dealers and manufacturers.

Mandy Holcroft- has worked in the materials handling sector for eleven years at Barclays Mercantile and the last eleven years at Albury Asset Rentals, where she managed a team of sales co-ordinators overseeing the introduction of business from both manufacturers and dealers.

Mandy Woodford - who has worked for BNP Paribas Lease Group for ten years, where she specialised in materials handling equipment and commercial vehicles. Prior to that she worked for Barclays Mercantile Business Finance and Lloyds TSB.

Linda Hide - has considerable material handling experience gained both with forklift truck manufacturers and within the financial services industry, having worked for twelve years at Barclays Mercantile and the last eleven years at Albury Asset Rentals.
