Who can switch?

Clients who are on a discounted variable rate with the switch to fix feature can switch to a new fixed rate at any time during their discounted term, without ERCs.

Clients who are in the last 17 weeks of their current mortgage deal.

Clients whose initial deal has ended and are on the Aldermore Managed Rate (AMR), or commercial clients on the Aldermore Mortgages Transition Rate (AMTR).

As long as your client is one of the above and their mortgage payments are up to date, they can be considered for a product switch. If your client has a buy to let account, they can’t have any ground rent arrears.

All our new mortgage deals begin on the 1st of each month so we’ll need to complete the switch at least 15 working days before then to secure the new rates before the next direct debit.

Residential brokers

If you’re switching existing residential and individual buy to let clients, our online residential portal lets you switch your clients to a new Aldermore deal in minutes. Click here to log in or register for our residential portal.

Commercial brokers

To switch your Company buy to let clients and individuals who originated through our Commercial mortgages broker portal, get in touch with us on 0333 321 1000.

Please note, if you’re not the applicant's original broker, make sure you have their full permission before carrying out a switch.
