Many of us consider giving something up for Lent, but just like when we formulate New Year's Resolutions or start a new diet, it's all too easy to give up.

To celebrate the start of Lent - and give us a bit of extra incentive! - Aldermore investigates how much money can be saved just by refraining from some of the most common indulgences for 40 days and 40 nights.

To maximise on any money you save, you could consider putting it into a personal savings account where it can accrue interest over time. To read more, take a look at the Aldermore personal savings pages or get in touch with one of our expert advisors for more information about saving with us.
