Small Business Saturday is all about recognising and celebrating the UK’s SMEs. At Aldermore, we’ve seen first-hand how hard small business owners work, pouring their hearts and souls into making their dreams come true. That’s why we decided to celebrate Small Business Saturday by giving our Twitter community the chance to win a small business Saturday night for their team.
To be in with a chance of winning, all you needed to do was tweet us with a selfie of you and your team, using the #SmallBizSelfie and #SmallBizSatUK hashtags.
While we had lots of great entries, we’re thrilled to announce the winners were Form Group, with their fantastic festive selfie, congratulations!
Form Group are a Midland’s based manufacturer, who use state of the art machinery and a highly skilled, dedicated workforce to produce a variety of different items for British and international clients.
For their prize, we sent out a food and drink hamper, packed full of everything you need for a great Saturday night; from posh crisps to cocktail-flavoured candles, macarons and marshmallows to fancy dress moustaches.
And in keeping with Small Business Saturday, we sourced some of the goodies from companies and their suppliers listed in the Small Business Saturday 100, including the following:
Duncan Murray Wines is a small shop in Leicestershire that does more than just sells wine. Customers are offered a ‘drinks-buying experience with a difference’, with an impressive choice of wines, beer and spirts all served with Duncan’s famous ‘infectious enthusiasm’.
Kokoa Collection made a name for themselves with their award winning hot chocolate, made with real chocolate. While you can find Kokoa Collection in good coffee shops, you can also buy it online to enjoy at home, whenever you want.
Dusty Ape pride themselves on knowing everything there is to know about coffee, which means they only stock the finest beans and blends.
Kiss Air Candles take home fragrances to the next level, with everything from traditional scents like lavender and coconut, to more unusual and unique ones like mojito and rhubarb.
Macarons and More craft, make and sell a range of delectable treats, from delicate macarons to more adventurous luxury cakes.
Cocoa Ooze sell luxury handmade chocolates, and also put on fun workshops and parties, giving customers the chance to learn the secrets behind making their very own delicious chocolates.
Thanks again to everyone who took part, and congratulations to Form Group!
