The EEF Future Manufacturing Awards, sponsored by Aldermore, offer a rare opportunity for manufacturers to gain vital exposure for their business and highlight the continued importance of manufacturing to the UK economy. Companies have until the 3rd of October to enter the awards for the chance to earn their business the distinction of being named one of the UK’s manufacturing pioneers in spring 2015.
With a diverse range of award categories to choose from, EEF welcomes entries from businesses of all shapes and sizes, unified by the vision to take the manufacturing industry forward into a successful future.
Primarily, the Business Growth category celebrates those making the most significant contribution to the economic recovery, with another award on offer for the ambitious exporters who enable UK manufacturing and Brand Britain to compete on an international scale.
The Smart Product and Business Efficiency awards pay tribute to the sector’s fresh thinkers, who are pushing the boundaries within the industry to deliver cutting-edge innovation. Meanwhile, the Environmental Efficiency, Developing People and Health and Safety categories recognise those leading the way on responsible business practices and having a positive impact on the communities around them.
Last, but certainly not least, with skills gaps posing a real challenge for the sector, the Apprentice Category singles out talented apprentices who act as role models in paving the way for future manufacturing excellence.
With just under a month left until the entry deadline, Aldermore encourages manufacturing firms from across the country to seize this opportunity to tell their story. Visit the EEF site to learn more about how to enter.
