SKILL! mentors support the future of British businesses

IN: Business news

Promising young business brains from UK schools gathered on Friday to take part in the latest in a series of SKILL! Programme workshops. The event, supported by Aldermore, saw several schools from the region gather in the offices of law firm DWF to get advice and training from some of Manchester's leading business minds.

During the SKILL! workshop in Manchester, each of the student teams were asked to pitch an innovative business idea to a panel of judges, including managing director of Brother UK, Phil Jones. You can hear the thoughts from the mentors at the event in our video below.

Aldermore were wowed by the quality of the young entrepreneurs' pitching skills and imaginative concepts, from apps to social networks. The Bank believes in supporting and educating the next generation of UK SME owners and our involvement in the SKILL! workshop is just the latest example of our commitment to future small businesses.
