Jamie's commitment to achieving success in her sport reflects Aldermore's passion for supporting individuals and SMEs to fulfil their dreams and aspirations. Her drive to disrupt the traditionally held views of motor racing is matched with our purpose as a bank to help people seek and seize opportunities. We're so proud to sponsor Jamie, as we watch her story unfold!

On Sunday 11 August 2019, Jamie Chadwick became the inaugural W Series Champion after winning the first ever single-seater series exclusively for female drivers and here at Aldermore, we couldn't be happier for her!

About Jamie

Jamie was born in Bath, grew up in the Isle of Man and now lives in Gloucestershire, near Tetbury. Her interest in racing began in 2010 when she started karting at the age of 11. Achieving numerous wins and podiums at club level in the Junior series, her talent and ambition has been clear from the start. In 2015, Jamie lifted her first trophy at the age of only 17 when she won the British GT Championship, becoming the first ever female winner – as well as the youngest! The record breaking victory of the GT Championship sparked a trend in Jamie’s achievements as later that year she was part of the Silverstone 24 Hour winning team, another first for a female driver.

Not long after becoming the first ever female driver to win a Formula 3 race, in 2019 Jamie broke yet another record becoming the first ever female driver to win the MRF challenge. In her eight years of competing, she has challenged the traditional view of racing, as Aldermore has done in banking, making her an ideal ‘Go Getter’ for us to support.
