Strong Customer Authentication for Business Savings Customers

New regulations have been introduced to help us to fight fraud and increase your account security

We’ve introduced two factor authentication to your business saving accounts and removed the need to remember memorable security questions.

Please check that your contact details are up to date in internet banking. We’ll need these to send you authentication codes every time you log in to internet banking.

  • Your user ID and password is one level of security
  • You’ll need to ask for a one-time use unique passcode each time you login to online banking

How does this work?

There’s no more memorable questions going forward. To access your online banking:

  • You’ll need to enter your user name and password
  • Next choose whether to receive your unique one time code by SMS or email
  • This will be sent immediately and will include only your one time passcode
  • As soon as you have the six digit code enter it in the spaces provided
  • Access your secure internet banking area

Please remember we’ll never ask you to click on a link or attachment from one of our text messages, or to send us personal information by text.

Get in touch with us right away if you think you’ve seen suspicious activity on your account or if you’ve been contacted by someone you suspect might be a fraudster.
