Strong Customer Authentication for Business Savings Customers

New regulations have been introduced to help us to fight fraud and increase your account security

We’re introducing two factor authentication to your business saving accounts and removing the need to remember memorable security questions.

Please check that your contact details are up to date in internet banking. We’ll need these to send you authentication codes every time you log in to internet banking.

  • Your user ID and password is one level of security
  • From the end of June you’ll need to ask for a one-time use unique passcode each time you login to online banking

How this will work

There’s no more memorable questions going forward. To access your online banking:

  • You’ll need to enter your user name and password
  • Next choose whether to receive your unique one time code by SMS or email
  • This will be sent immediately
  • As soon as you have the six digit code enter it in the spaces provided
  • Access your secure internet banking area
