Invoice finance CBILS: Helping a haulier get back on the road

Our invoice finance client is a family-run company, based in the Lothians, who specialise in providing bulk tipper hire services to commercial and industrial customers.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the business was severely impacted and as a result had to close its doors and furlough all of their staff.

The company has been a valued client of Aldermore since 2012, and we were delighted to be able to offer them a CBILS term loan in conjunction with their invoice finance facility.

The CBILS loan has helped them get the business back up and running and back to its full potential - bringing staff back from furlough, getting fuel in the tanks to get the trucks back on the road and covering the daily running costs of the business.

Claire Marshall, relationship manager, says: “We are delighted to be able to support our client get back on the road after the coronavirus crisis through the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme. We wish them all the success for the future.”

The business is now working hard to keep up with demand and looking to employ new staff to cover the extra workload.
