Vicki will establish and lead the Bank’s strategy team and have responsibility for developing strategic propositions as well as identifying and establishing commercial initiatives. She will also assume executive responsibility for Group Marketing.
Vicki joins Aldermore from Octopus Investments, a fast growing UK retail fund manager, where she was COO responsible for scaling the company’s operations and customer engagement model. She brings a wealth of business strategy experience to her new role having previously held senior roles with GE Capital and McKinsey & Company.
Reporting to Chief Executive, Phillip Monks, Vicki will sit on the Bank’s Executive Committee.
Phillip Monks, Chief Executive of Aldermore said:
“Vicki’s appointment further strengthens the executive team at Aldermore and I’m delighted that she has chosen to join us.
From effectively a start-up bank in 2009, Aldermore has now established its position as a fast-growing alternative to the traditional high street banks. Our transparent approach and simple, straightforward products continue to attract new customers, with total lending and customer deposits both seeing double digit growth in the first quarter of 2014. I am confident that Vicki’s wealth of business strategy experience will play an important role in the Bank’s future development.”
Aldermore Group Strategy and Marketing Director, Vicki Harris added:
“I am pleased to be joining Aldermore at such an exciting time in the Bank’s growth. In five years the Bank has developed a strong reputation with SMEs, homebuyers and savers across the UK.”
