Aldermore offers £1000 charity donation for the most impressive SKILL! Programme student business team

Last week in Reading, Aldermore had the pleasure of mentoring another group of talented young minds in the latest SKILL! Programme workshop.

Once again, the Bank was blown away by the inventive business concepts the students presented, and now Aldermore are inviting the Twitter community to decide which of these inspiring young teams deserves to win £1000 for a charity of their choice.

BonusBrush – Edgbarrow School

Designed to encourage young children to brush their teeth for longer, this innovative toothbrush app rewards children with points for every minute spent brushing, which can be swapped for prizes or rewards on their favourite apps. It pays to brush!

KettleCup – Edgbarrow School

Gym & Tone-it – Reading Girls’ School

Providing a fun introduction to the gym for young people, Gym & Tone-it is a community-focused fitness centre for 14 to 16 year olds. The business focuses on creating a fun, safe social environment, as well as a place for teenagers to access gym facilities and healthy snacks. 

Prize Draw terms and conditions 1. Entry is free and open to public vote for anyone over the age of 18 2. Only one entry per person is permitted. 3. Entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. 4. The prize is the donation of £1000 to the school with most public votes. There are no runners' up prizes. (hereinafter as the 'Prize') 5. The prize excludes any associated costs and expenses which may be incurred in taking up the Prize. 6. The winning entries will be selected and overseen by an independent adjudicator. 7. A representative from a winning school will be notified by email and/or by letter. 8. The winning school will be notified of the results 10 days after completion of the promotion. 9.
