Aldermore has been a vocal supporter of Small Business Saturday. Over the past six months, representatives from the Bank have taken part in Twitter Q&As, online panel debates and sessions with small businesses.

As a challenger bank, we are committed to championing small businesses and highlighting just how crucial these companies are to the UK economy.

In the video below, you can hear from Aldermore's Group Commercial Director Mark Stephens, discussing the Bank's involvement in Small Business Saturday. We're supporting British businesses.

To celebrate Small Business Saturday, Aldermore wants business owners across the United Kingdom to share the story behind their SME. Over December, the Bank is inviting small businesses to contribute to this historic event by revealing their experiences of starting a company in the UK.

We want to hear what inspired owners to start up their own business; the successes they enjoyed and the challenges they overcame.

Aldermore is offering an iPad 2 for the most popular story, as decided by a public vote. Together, we can support Small Business Saturday and help raise the awareness of SMEs across the UK.
