Experienced landlord - Ian's Story

Ian is the director of his own Limited Company which specialises in residential property investment. Over the years he has built a strong reputation as a Landlord and has grown a portfolio of 40 properties.

With relatively low property values and with his rental yields increasing he believes that the time is right for him to further expand his portfolio. He wants to diversify by purchasing a House in Multiple Occupancy (HMO).

He'd seen a new property to buy but was struggling to obtain a mortgage because the value of his portfolio exceeded other lenders' limits.

Remortgaging one of his existing BTL properties to release equity, we raised additional capital to enable him to fund the whole purchase cost.
